Free Event - "Show Casing Armstrong County" with Dave Battaglia

In keeping with his campaign promise to “Put Armstrong County on the map.” GOP County Commissioner nominee Dave Battaglia will host Pennsylvania Lt. Governor James Cawley for a special event on July 7 at the Smith Complex in Elderton, home of the Indiana/Armstrong Patriots. (Directions below)

The event -- “Show Casing Armstrong County-- will begin at 7:00 p.m. and is first in a series to be sponsored by Dave Battaglia to introduce and market our “people, products and potential” to high-level state and federal officials and the business community.

“I have already met with Lt. Gov. Cawley and will continue meeting with him and others to discuss solutions to our unusually high unemployment and real estate tax rate.” said Battaglia. “They are problems we can overcome, because we have great people and great resources here.”

Battaglia said, “Jim Cawley is keenly aware of the problems facing county governments in these hard economic times, having served as a Bucks County Commissioner. We have already established some common ground to build upon.”

People are encouraged to meet the Lt. Governor Jim Cawley, Dave Battaglia, and local dignitaries to discuss a number of important issues facing Armstrong County and the Commonwealth.

This event is free to the public.  Refreshments will be served.
